Our Work

As a registered charity, our aim is ‘to advance the education of the public by encouraging the understanding and appreciation of contemporary music, including music of Welsh origin / language’. Since opening in 1983 we have helped thousands of aspiring technicians, promoters, performers, photographers and more during the early stages of their careers. We are committed to increasing audience engagement with new music, providing opportunities for artists to grow and develop, and support those looking for other potential pathways into the industry.

We believe that everyone, of all backgrounds and abilities, should be able to access music – be that on or off the stage – and focus our work on the following key areas to achieve our charitable objectives:
