Old Mervs have announced their second album ‘Carparks’. Released on October 2nd, you’ll be able to sample it when they head to Clwb on August 4th.
Australian duo Old Mervs have been releasing music since 2022. The two close friends have known each other since they were five, and you can feel the natural synergy between the two in their music. Having released their debut self-titled album in 2025, they’ve put themselves at the forefront of Australia’s surf/slacker rock scene.
The pair’s music is incredibly effective at bringing a smile to your face, they write anthemic choruses which jolt you alive with a sense of euphoria. Their sun-kissed indie sound is similar to the first Circa Waves album, and their latest single ‘She Said’ has them taking cues from Oasis.
