Hard Lines Give 5 Reasons To Get Excited About Caro’s Cardiff gig

Interview – 01/03/2018

We caught up with our favourite coffee & vinyl providers, Hard Lines to find out why they’re so excited to catch Caro on their stop at Cardiff on their UK tour. Here’s what they had to say…

CARO! They’re playing Clwb on March 10th and we think they’re pretty damn good, we love em’ & here’s 5 reasons why we think you should check them out:

  1. BBC Radio 6’s Steve Lamacq says they sounds like Alice in Wonderland if written by Morrissey while channeling Dr Seuss, Alan Bennett and PJ Harvey… Which is quite the description if you ask us.
  2. Did Alt-J leave a little hole in your life after their first record An Awesome Wave? Fear not! Caro are packing those Angular-Pop-Math rock vibes you’ve been waiting for. Don’t believe us? Listen to this.
  3. You can finally be that annoying person that says ‘Oh, those guys? yeah I saw them on the ground floor of Clwb before they were big…
  4. The Leeds based trio write jingly guitar tracks with lyrics that’ll make you think while you have a bop. (Closet Lunatic being a great example of that)
  5. Watch their video for Eyes on The Ground and we’ll see you at Clwb on March 10th in our dirties string vest.

Are you convinced yet? You can join the Facebook event to keep up to date with the gig and any Caro news we think you’ll enjoy. Tickets can be purchased here or over at the lovely Spillers Records.
