What’s the dress code?

We don’t have a dress code here in Clwb Ifor Bach, you can wear whatever you like!

Can I collect my tickets from the box office? Or do I need to print my tickets at home?

You don’t need to print your ticket at home (let’s save on paper waste!), bring your e-ticket on your phone by purchasing from our ticket links on our listings page on our website.

Where is Clwb Ifor Bach?

Clwb Ifor Bach is situated on Womanby Street in the centre of Cardiff, a stone’s throw away from the Principality Stadium and the Castle. Here we are on a map.

If you’ve lost something, please ring 029 2023 2199 – and we’ll try and locate your lost item.

Where is the nearest parking facility?

Womanby Street is a pedestrianised street. If you are a band, you can bring your vehicle to the venue to load your gear out. There is an NCP Car Park nearby, or you can park in Cardiff Arms Park (when there isn’t a game on).

Do I need to be a Welsh-speaker?

Clwb Ifor Bach is a venue for everyone. Whatever language you speak. Mae croeso yma i bawb.

Can my band play? Can I hire Clwb for a gig / club night?

If you’d like us to consider you as a support band for a show, or if you’d like to put on your own club night or live event, email us on post@clwb.net with as much information about your night as possible.

How much is it to hire Clwb?

Prices vary for different floors. Send us an email (post@clwb.net) and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Where can I get tickets for your events?

All our events are listed on our website which have ticket links attached to them. We also use a great app called Dice. It’s quick, easy and hassle-free! Try it out today – dice.fm. Another outlet we use is See Tickets, or you can visit the wonderful team at Spillers Records!

I’ve lost my ID – can I still attend an event?

We are a fully licensed live music and club night venue and we have a strict ID policy for any 18+ events (not all live music shows are 18+). We only accept:

  • Full driving license
  • Provisional driving license
  • Passport
  • Any ID with a PASS hologram 

What time do gigs finish?

All our live shows have different start and finish times, so check our listings online for a specific event.

What time do doors open?

Every event has different start and finish times – you should check our website clwb.net for information about specific shows.

Do you have disabled access?

Our ground floor has disabled access and is wheelchair friendly. Sadly, we do not have a lift, so our top floor isn’t wheelchair accessible. Please contact us if you are interested in an event here and we can confirm which floor it’s on.

You have two / three / four events listed on the same night!

We have three floors here in Clwb Ifor Bach! We try to put as many events on as possible in one evening – which could mean two live acts and two club nights! If you’d like more information about the event you’re attending, check our listings on clwb.net.

I want to have my birthday party at your venue!

Unfortunately we can’t hold any birthday parties for anyone under 21 at our venue. If you’d like to celebrate your birthday here and you’re over 21 years old – please feel free to email us. Please be aware that we are usually fully booked on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Can I hire a private booth at your venue?

Unfortunately, we do not offer any private booths, and we are unable to reserve any specific areas at our events.

My photo was taken at an event last night – where can I find my picture?

If your photo was taken at a club night, it will be uploaded to the events’ Facebook page a few days after the event.

What are your opening hours?

Our offices are open from 10 am to 5 pm every weekday. In the night – it varies. Go to our listings page for more information.

Do you have a cloakroom?

Yes, we do! We open the cloakroom for most club nights, but it might not be open for gigs. If you need to know, contact us before the event. It’s £1 for every item. We do not take any responsibility for any coats or items left in the cloakroom.
