Initially the outlet for Dana Margolin’s brilliantly weirdo solo experiments, over the last few years Porridge Radio has become a collection of more of Brighton’s outcasts, and a gang fleshing out Margolin’s songs and ricocheting into other directions. Affiliated with Brighton’s other premier oddpoppers Garden Centre, Porride Radio songs are a ramshackle rabble of guitar, keyboards and repeated vocals, absurdism treated with the same import as profundity. Or: pure wonky gold.
