‘Merched Yn Neud Gwallt ei Gilydd’, with the original title taked from a Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci song, is a worskhop, bringing women aged 16-25 together to discuss ideas and develop new skills, in the hope of inspiring and bringing new talent into the Welsh music scene.
The workshops will be led by Heledd Watkins, Anya Bowcott and Elin Meredydd. HMS Morris frontwoman, Heledd, will run a workshop on how to write and record your own music, and Anya Bowcott, a DJ from north Wales, now living in Glasgow, leading a workshop on how to DJ. If art is more your cup of tea, then artist and performer Elin Meredydd will be running a workshop on the artistic side of the industry, offering advice on how to design gig posters and album covers.
Tickets include lunch and workshops. The workshops will be conducted in Welsh.
