Kidsmoke and Red Telephone

Plastic Estate
7:00pm | £6 | 18+

Wrexham’s Kidsmoke have packed in an impressive amount in the few years since forming, built on their lush music, a dreamy mix of clean guitars, intertwining vocals and irrepressible, nagging melodies.

Red Telephone are a three-piece from Cardiff who formed in late 2017. With a sound that has been compared to the likes of Suede, Syd Barrett, St Vincent and T-Rex, the band’s first two singlesreceived enthusiastic support and airplay from BBC DJs such as Amy Lame, Huw Stephens, Janice Long, Adam Walton and Bethan Elfyn. There is a timeless quality and other-worldly melancholic sadness that hangs on every passing note from Cardiff’s most exciting psychedelic night urchins, who combine the experimental ethos of British psychedelia with a wide array of modern influences to create an ambitious and exciting sound.
