Wrth adrodd straeon am fywyd myfyrwyr, magwraeth dref fechan a diniweidrwydd ieuenctid, mae Pentire yn gwneud caneuon pop ar gyfer y genhedlaeth ôl-jangle trwy wên a chwys y mosh pit.
Pentire are an indie band who make pop songs for the post-jangle generation through the smiles and sweat of the mosh pit. This Herefordshire four-piece tell cheap lager-soaked stories of student life, a small town upbringing, and the innocence of youth. Brought up on a diet of The Killers, Paolo Nutini and Stereophonics, frontman and principal songwriter Jack Morgan met his bandmates in the sleepy town of Ross-on-Wye. They lived their school lives as unpopular kids with a distaste for maths, who have grown from making a racket in their mum’s shed to selling out venues across the south west. With previous support from tastemakers such as Steve Lamacq (BBC 6Music), John Kennedy (RadioX) and Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist, Pentire are part of indie club night This Feeling’s ‘Hot in 2022’ programme.
