Clwb Ifor Bach is an established grassroots music venue and nightclub in the heart of Cardiff and has been a home for new and emerging music for over 40 years. We are Cardiff’s longest running nightclub and one of the Wales’s leading independent promoters, programming live music and club events across the country as well as delivering the inner-city multi-venue music festival Sŵn Festival.

In April 2021, we launched Clwb Music, an independent music management company with the aim of developing and collaborating with artists from Wales.

We are looking for a Promoter (Welsh Language) to join our team. Your focus will be to manage, develop and promote all Welsh language events, both at the venue and elsewhere in Wales. Working within our in-house event team the ideal candidate will have experience of promoting, in-depth knowledge of the Welsh language music scene and knowledge of the companies and organisation operating within the sector.

Responsibilities include delivery of Welsh language music strategy for the venue, develop ideas for expanding our programme of Welsh language events elsewhere in Wales, work with external partners on the delivery of key Welsh language festivals, as well as any other relevant work determined by the Head of Music from time to time. Although the post is primarily office based regular attendance at events will be expected.
